Magical History Tours |
Both
of the 2008 tours have been completed. The first was a Religious Heritage
tour of Rockhampton and the second, a visit to the old Mount Wheeler
goldfield and the Veterans’ retreat at Camp Cockscomb.
Tours for 2009 are being planned and details will appear here soon. |

Night |
Following the success of this year’s film showing, we are presently converting more of our old 8mm films to DVD and another public presentation will occur in 2009. |

Festivals
Project: The CCHS will be undertaking a campaign to gather material
and memorabilia relating to the Pineapple Festival (PineFest) from
the earliest events to the present. Anyone interested in contributing
stories or photographs, or willing to lend items for the exhibition
in February, is asked to contact Peter 4939 2491 or Mary 4933 7006.
